Gaza – Ma’an – The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, has released video footage showing a series of operations carried out by its fighters against Israeli forces and military vehicles in Jabalia, northern Gaza. The campaign has been dubbed “David’s Stones.”
According to the Brigades, a unit of its fighters ambushed an Israeli force east of Jabalia on June 23, 2025, resulting in the killing of three soldiers at close range.
The footage also captures a second attack on July 12, targeting a group of soldiers and armored vehicles in the Al-Omari area of central Jabalia. In this operation, a Merkava tank was reportedly destroyed using a Tandem-85 anti-tank projectile, while a second vehicle was hit with a homemade explosive device in what was described as a “martyrdom mission.”
The video includes moments of advancement toward targets, the striking of vehicles, and the point-blank execution of three Israeli soldiers—accompanied by their audible screams.
In a voice recording within the footage, a Qassam fighter declares:
“Today is the long-awaited day. We are preparing all kinds of torment for this defeated army… By God, we will not let them go.”
He continues:
“They target civilians. Let them come face us... We are the heroes of this great religion.”
It’s worth noting that Jabalia has witnessed intense Israeli bombardment in recent days, amid escalating clashes across various regions of the Gaza Strip.
